Scottsdale Students Partner With Cycle For Success

Scottsdale’s own Be Kind People Project recently partnered with students from Cocopah Middle School to surprise three outstanding children at Cesar Chavez Community School with their very own bikes, helmets and locks through the Cycle for Success program. Cycle for Success focuses on increasing children’s self-esteem, encouraging the community to become involved in the lives of at-risk children and promoting volunteerism in local schools.

Subway Kids, Sports of Arizona and Shamrock Farms partnered with Arizona Diamondbacks legend Luis Gonzales and the Epik Dance Crew to put on an all-school student assembly, focusing on raising the entire school’s awareness of the importance of being kind to each other. Breakfast With Scottsdale Mayor

Each forum features a conversation with influential leaders in Scottsdale. Mayor Lane will discuss the City’s upcoming economic development initiatives, new work on the City’s General Plan and what lies ahead for Scottsdale.

The event will be held at the Doubletree Resort Paradise Valley-Scottsdale, located at 5401 North Scottsdale Road. Registration is between 7:15-7:30am and breakfast forum from 7:30-9am.
