Bodega 13 Opens Second Restaurant In North Scottsdale

Bodega 13, an international tapas kitchen, opened its first restaurant last November in Carefree, and now has opened a second location in North Scottsdale.  The new Bodega 13 is located at the northeast corner of Pima and Pinnacle Peak Roads in the La Mirada Center, directly across from Mastros.  They will be open for lunch and dinner with happy hour from 3-5:30pm.

The owner, Larry Foppe, is excited about the new location saying, “Our goal is to create a restaurant destination in North Scottsdale with three great and uniquely different dining options – Mastros, Bodega 13 and Jade Palace.”

Bodega 13 has received excellent reviews for its innovative menu featuring international tapas and entrees, with dishes from over 25 countries are represented on the menu.  Executive Chef Michael Bouwens states that, “Our menu has no fried food, few carbs and is mostly protein based.  The menu also has ample selections for vegetarians, vegans and customers with gluten free diets.  It is not your typical restaurant.”

The new location is much larger than the Carefree location and has a private dining room and outdoor patio.  The Chef’s table has also been built into the kitchen, allowing guests to interact with the kitchen staff while dining.  Starting in November, Bodega 13 will also feature a Sunday Brunch.

Bodega 13 is open for lunch and dinner from 11am-10pm. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 480.284.7600 or by visiting
