Scottsdale Culinary Festival

Culinary Festival 2Hosted by the Scottsdale League for the Arts, the Scottsdale Culinary Festival returns to Scottsdale Civic Center Mall April 16-17. Event highlights include 40 local restaurants, 30 craft breweries, 20 bands, a teen cooking challenge, chef demos, family zone, wine garden and a vodka lounge.

Stroll the 25-acre Festival grounds and explore 11 themed zones jam packed with interactive experiences to taste, sip and celebrate the Arizona food culture. Access to all zone activity is included with general admission tickets, with the exception of the VIP zone and the Southwest Festival of Beers.

In the Culinary Experience Tent, education is the focus with mixology and chocolate making demos, meet the brewers panel and food photography and urban farming seminars. An Epicurean Expo features chef demos, student cooking challenges, wine seminars and the latest in kitchen and cooking gadgets. A new addition to Sunday’s lineup is the Challenge to the Chefs: Teen Edition, held in the Virginia Piper Theatre.

In addition to a Family Zone, where children will enjoy face painting, bouncy houses, carnival games, a magician and crafts, enjoy live entertainment on three stages and multiple opportunities to sample festival libations.
