Five Nights In Maine

By Kathryn M. Miller

The Phoenix Film Festival will celebrate its 16th year by screening more than 150 feature films and shorts April 7-14. Attendees will take part in screenings; Q&A sessions with producers, director and talent; enjoy world‐class entertainment; a silent auction and more. With a wide range of film selections, Valley residents can find a film to suit their taste, or discover something completely new.

Hosted by the non-profit Phoenix Film Foundation, the Festival takes place all in one location, with films on seven screens at Harkins Scottsdale 101. All parties and workshops are held right on site so attendees are always in the action.

The Opening Night Premiere Event features a cocktail party and a Celebration of the Art of Food in the Party Pavilion, followed by a premiere film screening of Morris From America. Other highlights include Industry Night, Arizona Student Film Festival, Kid’s Day, a performance of Catwalk by Scorpius Dance Theatre, Arts Day and more. The week of film screenings and events will culminate in the Closing Night Event screening of Five Nights in Maine, which stars David Oyelowo.
