PVCCPVSS_InteriorParadise Valley Community College Black Mountain campus will hold a grand opening ceremony for its newest expansion, Aquila Hall, January 29 at 10am. The newly constructed 20,000-square-foot facility includes classrooms, a computer lab, science labs, an astronomy viewing deck and telescopes, an amphitheater and a tutoring center.

“Aquila Hall allows us to expand our course offering to include biology, physics, chemistry, geology and astronomy as well as more business classes,” says Dr. Paul Dale, president, Paradise Valley Community College. “For instance, one of the classes we will be offering is a higher level biology that uses cadavers in the class, this will allow students pursuing degrees in the health care to get a jump start on classes that would typically be at the university. Students will now have the opportunity to complete an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science or Associate of Business degrees all at the Black Mountain campus. These degrees also transfer to the university allowing students to get high quality education at an affordable price.”
