Z’Tejas Spices It Up For Fall


Locally-based Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill invites Valley residents to enjoy its 11th annual Fall Fest using the seasonally grown favorite Hatch New Mexico green chiles. The event began September 7 and runs through Sunday, November 8. During that time, Z’Tejas will offer its Fall Fest menu at all five Valley locations.

Items from the Fall Fest menu include:

  • Chile Onion RingsChiles and onion rings, cotija cheese, cilantro, ranch and chipotle prickly pear sauces.
  • Chile Glazed Salmon SaladKale, red leaf & iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, apples, grapes, tomatoes, spicy walnuts, jalapeño cornbread croutons, cranberry vinaigrette
  • Chipotle Beef RellenoJalapeño grits, green chile sauce, sour cream, chipotle sour cream, borracho beans, cotija cheese.
  • Chile Pollo Tinga SandwichBorracho beans, slaw, tomatoes, chile onion rings, cotija cheese, cilantro, chipotle prickly pear sauce. (Available for lunch only.)
  • Chile Crusted Pork TenderloinJalapeño grits, mint chimichurri, green chile sauce, roasted corn.
  • Farfalle JambalayaCrawfish, longaniza sausage, bay scallops, smoked chicken, grilled Portobello, red peppers and snap peas. (Available for dinner only.)
  • Bavarian Cream Churros – Cajeta (caramelized goat milk), green chile chocolate sauce.
