By Kathryn M. Miller ~ No matter which side of the climate change/global warming debate one falls on, it cannot be denied that planet Earth is home, and as any conscientious homeowner will tell you, upkeep and pride of ownership are key to maintaining value.

Earth Day is April 22, and the perfect opportunity to reflect on how we are treating ol’ Mother Earth, and perhaps consider investing in her health. Here are five ways to ditch the debate and just keep on the “green side.”

  1. Do Some Spring Cleaning: But don’t fill the dumpster! Donate gently used items to area charities such as Goodwill or St. Vincent de Paul, or find a boutique consignment shop for higher-end items.
