Improvements For PV Municipal Court

Look for changes by the end of the year at Paradise Valley’s municipal courthouse.

Construction is currently underway to enhance security at PV courthouse with nearly $400,000 being spent to make the necessary improvements. The Paradise Valley Municipal Court handles about 35,000 civil and criminal cases a year, and is currently the only court in Maricopa County without armed security. Money for the project comes from an enhancement fund (money from civil citations and court fees) with no other Town funds being applied. The new and improved areas for the court include X-ray machines, a separate, secured entrance for prisoners, jury room, audio-visual systems and more.

Located at 6401 East Lincoln Drive, the Municipal Court shares space with Town Hall and municipal post office. Construction is expected to be completed by January. In the meantime, the Court will be temporarily housed at police headquarters. For information, visit
