By Katherine Koenig – It’s a new beginning for the North Scottsdale Farmers Market. The year-round market recently moved west from its Shea and 94th Street location to Pima Crossing, on Shea just west of Loop 101. The new location also includes new vendors who are now part of the weekly market.
“Shopping local is important to me, says Scottsdale resident Tara James. “I feel good about providing healthy and great tasting food for my family. My husband and I look forward to our weekly shopping at North Scottsdale’s new location. Products are high quality and fresh.”
Known for its local produce, grass-fed beef, raw honey and jams, residents can also find a wide variety of other fresh fare including delicious baked goods like hand baked pies, organic soups, tamales and more. The food community offers both small and large produce tents and encourages residents to shop both tents.
The North Scottsdale Farmers Market also offers delivery service for many of the products offered each Saturday. Market hours are 8am-12pm. Organizers encourage residents to bring the family and appetite for fresh ingredients. Find out more by visiting www.northscottsdalefarmersmarket.com or check out their Facebook page.
