Flagstaff BBQ & Brews

FLAGSTAFF – Pepsi Amphitheater adds another exciting festival to its summer lineup with Flagstaff BBQ and Brews, Saturday July 28, delivering tastes of more than 100 craft beers and a sampling of signature barbecue – all happening immediately after the Arizona Cardinals full pads scrimmage. Gates open at noon.

Flagstaff BBQ and Brews rewards avid fans with the perfect mix of NFL football and premium craft beers amidst the cool Ponderosa pines – along with some great barbecue.

A special feature of the event is an NFL Season Preview presented by Ron Wolfley on the Mainstage. A fan favorite, Wolfley was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 1985. During his 10-year career, Wolfley played in four Pro Bowls where he served as special teams captain. He continues to show his passion for the game as a professional sports broadcaster and color commenter for all Arizona Cardinals games.

Flagstaff BBQ and Brews will feature more than 100 styles of craft beer from around the world. In addition, Arizona’s own beer master and certified cicerone, Chuck Noll, will present a screening of Discovery Channel’s How Beer Saved the World on the Mainstage.

Joining Noll on the Mainstage will be plenty of musical performance – live blues, rock and Indie bands; plus the ever-popular Sub-Zero/Wolf Chefs Demonstration Stage, showcasing perfect pairings of BBQ and featured brews.

Admission is $10. Beer passports are $20 for 12 5oz. pours. Arizona barbecue also will be available to satisfy the hungry masses at the festival. Tickets are available at www.pepsiamp.com or by phone at 866.977.6849.
