AZ Walk to Silence Tinnitus

SCOTTSDALE – Tinnitus is a commonly overlooked and underserved health condition impacting up to 50 million people in the United States. Commonly referred to as “ringing in the ears,” tinnitus is also the number one disability affecting United States veterans, accounting for over 812,000 who are service-connected to tinnitus. While there are treatments that work for some people, there is currently no cure.

On the morning of March 24, the second annual AZ Walk to Silence Tinnitus will take place at DC Ranch in Scottsdale. This event is a fundraiser for the American Tinnitus Association, a national non-profit organization dedicated to silencing “ringing in the ears.” This 5K walk is coordinated and sponsored by Arizona health professionals and patients who both treat and have tinnitus, and will begin and end on Market Street at DC Ranch.
