Arizona Beer Week Returns February 18-25

The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild kicks off its annual weeklong celebration of all things beer this weekend. The celebration of craft beer boasts more than 150 buzz-worthy events in every corner of the state including Flagstaff, Sedona, Prescott, Tucson, Phoenix, Bisbee and every brew-loving burg in between.

New events this year include a focus on craft beer education, the artistry of brewing and unveiling never-before-seen suds. The weeklong celebration starts with the 12th Annual Arizona Strong Beer Festival, held at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix on February 18. The festivities wrap with the Four Peaks Brewery’s (www.facebook.com/fourpeaksbrew) first annual Kilt Fest from 12-5pm Saturday, February 25 – a celebration of food, music and, of course, beer. Held in the center of Phoenix’s Cityscape (1 East Washington Street), Kilt Fest will feature a variety of gourmet food trucks and live musical performances by the Keltic Cowboys and O’Henry Band.
